Puppy Dog Tails was established in 2017 by Lynda Hammond, and is the place to go for five star dog and puppy training. As mum to several four-legged friends, large and small, she has an understanding of the highs (and occasional lows) of owning dogs!
Lynda welcomes all kinds of dog: rescue, reactive, young or old. Workshops on agility, scent work, recall, loose lead, kids-around-dogs and much more, are available from spring to autumn. Social and life skills group classes are available all year round.
You are welcome to join one of our group classes and meet like-minded dog owners, book a one-to-one consultation with Lynda or try a combination of both at her four acre, rural training centre and indoor facility in North Kent.

Welcome to Puppy Dog Tails. My name is Lynda and I’m a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist with a wealth of experience, helping families and their dogs on a daily basis. Based in Medway, Kent, my training style is force-free, fun, fluid, flexible and friendly.

Lynda is a five-star-rated trainer offering group classes or one-to-one programmes for dogs of all ages. Whether you have a puppy, an experienced older dog, a rescue dog or your dog is reactive (aggressive), we have a programme for you. You and your dog are also welcome to join our weekly socialisation meets or breed-specific monthly meetings.
No dog is too big, too small, too young or too old to take part!
Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards
Lynda’s training courses include a Puppy Foundation Course for puppies up to one year old, followed by the Kennel Club Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
General and specialised dog and puppy training
Lynda offers a variety of advanced and specialised courses for puppies and dogs, from advanced puppy training to UK Sniffer Dog training.
Social Sessions
Join us on our group meet-up for dogs, pups and their families. Learn socialisation and life skills in an enclosed space. All dogs will be pre-assessed and placed with their correct peer group.

Our four acre field is the perfect spaces for doggy exercise, training or just sniffing and chilling. Located between the North Kent villages of Borstal and Wouldham, the field is accessed through a roadside gate and has off-road parking for six vehicles.

The secure field is a lovely place to take dogs — mine absolutely love it. I have a young foreign rescue dog who can be nervous and this is his happy place! He can run and let off steam and we can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet
